A clear, regular and trackable first step for complete beginners.

A regular weekly learning rhythm.

The start of the chess journey
Foundation Training is for complete beginners. It is not a cheaper alternative to Youth Development; it is the first stage of the Mergen education journey.
- Programme purposeStudents meet Mergen, learn chess fundamentals, enter the education system and have their progress observed. Suitable students can later move into Youth Development.
