Mergen Chess is a chess academy offering online chess education for children aged 7-12, taught by internationally titled coaches in groups of 6-8 across a September–June season programme. It was founded in İzmir in 2020 by International Master Serkan Soysal and now teaches students across Turkey as well as Azerbaijan, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The moment when chess excitement reached its peak. We organized Turkey's highest prize online chess tournament in 2023 with a prize pool of 125,000 ₺. Leading grandmasters such as GM Vahap Şanal, GM Batuhan Daştan, GM Cem Kaan Gökerkan, GM Vugar Rasulov competed in our tournament. All matches were broadcast live on Satranç365 YouTube channel and watched by more than 300,000 unique viewers.
